All apparent winners of the "TBNHC" must pass a polygraph test to validate the harvest. Refusal or failure to show up for the polygraph test will result in a disqualification from the contest.
*VIDEO*
A hog entered into the the tournament by a team must have a valid video. The video needs to contain the hog in clear view while the shot takes place, the arrow impact shots, and hunter/videographer verification. Arrow impact shots are crucial for the soundness of the video. Videos must be viewed from original form. No edited videos. How ever do to the nature of this tournament with free-lance hunting expanding an entire month any teams who place are subject to a polygraph test.
*TUSK*
The tusk measurement is taken from the bottom jaw only. Both lengths of the bottom tusks will be combined for one score. The measurement is taken from the base of the tusk (gum line) to the tips. (ex: Right tusk 2 5/8 Left Tusk 3 1/16 = Total Score - 5 11/16)
Rules
1. All hogs weighed in must have a sound video to prove the authenticity of the teams kill.**
2. Register by mail, online, or opening ceremonies at Pickton Community Center on Feb. 4th at 10 am. DeadLine Feb. 4th at 5 pm.
3. Any entries received before January 28th will get $20 off. (applys only to the Adult Division.)
4. NO high fences, NO hog traps, and NO pen raised hogs.
5. The use of dogs is strictly limited to blood trailing and recovery only.
6. Night hunts and day hunts are both allowed.
7. Lighted nocks are recommended during day hunts but must be used during night hunts for video conformation.
8. 1 or 2 person team - Adult Division. 1 Person Team - Womens Division and all Youth Divisions.
9. All Hogs must be legally harvested per State and Federal Laws
10. Only a registered contestant is permitted to FILM the hunt. (applys only to the Adult Division.)
11. Hogs must be CALLED in within 24 hours of recovery. 903-348-2461
12. All hogs must be weighed on a zeroed out game scale and
13. The entire process of weighing each hog must be recorded without stopping. A non Team member can help during this Process.
14. Hog Tie breaker will be the the earliest hog weighed.
15. Time and Date must be recorded on video. (ex. Use Cell Phone)
16. All hogs must be weighed hanging by the back leg(s).
17. Contestants in contingency of 1st, 2nd & 3rd place must bring in their scales at closing ceremonies.
18. ALL CONTESTANTS OF THE TBNHC HUNTING FROM A TREE STAND MUST WEAR A CERTIFIED SAFETY HARNESS.
19 Ladies, Youth, and Kids can only enter one division. They can not enter two divisions.
